I forgot to ask...does anyone know what the mountain(?) in the left hand side of the poster symbolizes or is meant to represent?

I've already examined this poster and it's fine.

The mountain in the background - well it's the background........

Ive enquired about an SS NORGE recruitment brochure.

Vince, do you have a copy of one of these?

              Hi,

yes this is one of the two variants of the "Alarm" 4 pages flyer.
You can find this one between 300 and 1200 nok on the web, i think Dereksmilitaria still have a few for sale (he found a small lot years ago).

I still have to post my "review" of the two variants, as i'm still suspicious about one of them (a post-war fake reprint ?). For now i have one of the variants, missing the second one.

The "Felles Front Mot Bolsjevismen" booklet is the best known for recruitment into the SS Rgt "Norge". I'm still missing some propaganda booklets from Norway, i hope to find them in the future. ^_^
I posted two other norgevian flyers for the SS Rgt "Norge" or the SS Ski bataillon.

I still have to post the danish "Dich Ruft Die SS" booklet too...

              See You

              Vince

                  Hi,

here is some scan of one of the variant of the "Alarm!" flyer.

As i said, two variants exist :
                  - the first one - imo a real one - has the word "Alarm!" written in the same front on the two covers and in page 2 (on the picture below, it is the variant with a pen)
                  - the second one - maybe a fake ? - uses a different font for the word "Alarm!", but also for the whole text on pages 2 and 3. A strange fact is that this variant layout is trying to "copy" the same layout for the sentences and paragraphs as in the first (original imo) variant.
So is it a fake ? Dereksmilitaria found a small stock, but i bought my own second variant (similar to the one proposed by Dereksmilitaria) from another seller. I'm still investigating that subject, i will get back to you when i will know more.

First variant (on the right, with the pen), and second variant (on the left, courtesy of Dereksmilitaria).

My own copy. You can check with the BIC pen that this is a very small flyer.

This flyer has the same cover on pages 1 and 4.

                  Full text of the flyer.

Another subject, the famous "SS Dagen 1943" ceremony in Oslo (August 14-15, 1943).
Below is the poster (courtesy of the previous news link of a big collection of posters recently sold in Norway)...

... then the amazing "SS Dagen 1943" book. My copy is not an original, but an excellent copy proposed by Dereksmilitaria, an original is said to cost around 400 Euros. The copy costs ten times cheaper, and is worth having !

A few issues of the magazine "Nordlandir", a german pro-National Sammling print (to the contrary of "Ragnarok", also in german but not very pro-Quisling if i clearly remember).
In the September 1943 issue, they made a small report of the August Saturday 14-Sunday 15 ceremony in Oslo.

A famous photo of the entrance of the "Germanske SS Norge" camp in the center of Oslo. The camp was done in the St Hanshaugen park, which was used to celebrate summer solstice.

                      Hi,

congratulations Patrick, this is a very nice one we are still missing for now.

This small dutch booklet "Volg de roepstem van eer en geweten !" ("Hear the call-up of your conscience") is one of the earliest printed for the Waffen-SS, and it was made by the Ersatzkommando der Waffen-SS Nordwest (before the change of their name - see the posts about the Mjölnir poster).

                          Hello Patrick,

this is very interesting, because it confirm that TWO versions of the same booklet exist !

                          - one with the Ersatzkommando Niederlande name (your copy Patrick),
                          - one with the Ersatzkommando Nordwest name !

                          See You
