Just wanted to share these artifacts as further proof the garments in this (foreign) material are certainly SS (and SD) used in Holland!

Here are a pair of SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer of Gericht shoulder boards just to show you the waffenfarben color... it's a reddish-purple.

I'm of the opinion that he would wear the runic collar tab. I think only the Gestapo and SD wore the blank collar tabs... could be wrong but that is what I think.

Bob, I assume very rare color waffenfarbe. What kind of premium would one expect to pay for that color, if they could be located. This in comparison to more common colors. Thanks Dennis

I'd say the boards that I displayed are probably between $1500-2000. That color was shared by Nebelwerfer units as well. Here is a pair of enlisted shoulder straps with the same color but I doubt if this guy was a lawyer! And here is a photo of an SS-Untersturmfuhrer of Nebelwerfer light-weight jacket from Mike Beaver's books.
