Here are my field-used HG Oberleutnant shoulderboards.

Not as rare as most things posted here, but interesting because he used the slips of a pair of M44 boards to make his own slip-on shoulder tabs!

The construction details (thread) looks weird to me, but why fake something so convincingly that no one knows what it is? I am intrigued. How much are they? My gut feeling is that someone assembled these original components to create this item.

I also think they are original and put together pre-1945.
Perhaps a flight Uffz transferred to Felddivision and created his very own tab idea? Wouldn‘t be unusual - as long he didn‘t wear it on his walk-out uniform in Berlin ...

Rare Engineer Corps tabs and boards. The pinks match perfectly. The boards were manufactured as Oberleutnant boards, i.e. the pips prongs do not penetrate the pink.
