The drooptail eagle in question looks good to me, I think this silver version was worn by NCO and officers ..
Think Rudel had one of these on his Flieger bluse ..

              One's again... need your opinion

              Hi to all,

One's again, my main problem to identify my tunic is to know if the eagle is a original one and originaly sewn. (concerning the tunic, no problem, it's a good one)

Would you please share me your comments.

              Many thanks in advance !!!

DAK1941---Eagle looks okay to me. . I have one similar to yours.

How about a few pics of the entire tunic? Is the tunic dated?

                Thanks.

Ya know, taking another look at it there are some areas that are concerning and I do see what appears to be some "empty stitching holes". I think the eagle is real but has been re-applied.

                    Steve, what do you think?

Yep, but I've been wrong before.

Out with it Steven, what do you think?

                          Doubts on my eagle...

                          Hi to all,

Larry, concerning my tunic, no there is no date, but it's common on Luftwaffe tropical tunic. Nevertheless, I have a standard size and manufacturer stamp: "Peek&Cloppenburg Beha Berlin"

Concerning my eagle, I would like to be sure if it's a good or fake one, if sewing is an original one or not.
Moreover, generally on tropical tunic, half of the swastika is covering the right pocket. On mine, the swastika don't touch the pocket. Is that normal?

                          Your comments are always welcome

Well I'm sure the eagle is not original to the jacket. There is lots of evidence of a previous one IMO.
WRT the eagle itself - I have been told by a reliable source that his type is a common repro.

I think we should wait for other opinions

Those are the areas I was looking at too.

Looking forward to see what others have to say about the eagle. The gap in the left wing (as you view it) is "interesting" as well as the eagle's backing. Did you notice this Steve?

Sorry, IMHO the eagle is a reproduction.
