Thanks everyone. I'm glad it's a good one as I really didn't know what pointers to look out for when I bought it. It's a bit of a minefield buying these things to the uninitiated like me!

That is a wonderful, goofy looking, hand embroidered, foreign produced eagle Jerry. There are several illustrated from George Petersen's collection in the Kurtz DAK book.

Thats what I was thinking John, a Greek manufactured example, as shown in the Kurtz book. It would be good to see detail pics of the front and back, as they are not that big in the book and he does not show the reverse.

                Hello Jerry,
i will post later today as im at work at the moment,
i got it from member colorado and he got it with a impressive bunch of l.w items inc hbt jackets and it was reviewed (he had 2 of them) on the waf as a foreign made one (very poorly made at that).
                pic will be later,
                have a great day,
                cheers

i also got this one of the waf and the reviews of it were "the more you stare at it" their was no one going no and no one going yes, a real interesting one and worth the gamble for $50.
i stare at it and im not sure if thumbs up or down but id be very interested in your views as well,
pics up later today as im at work not working to hard today lol,
                  cheers
