I've handled some of this stuff, but don't know what more there could be, fact is that it's fake, I ran some tests ..
Just showing there's a lot of crap on the market.

It's just a warning that there's some nasty stuff around, grounddug or not .., the pith helmet eagles are already accepted by many, have seen quite some pith helmets with that eagle on dealer's sites, they just melt like butter in a flame ..

nothing personal mate,,but authoring books does not directly correlate
to knowledge on the subject,,,,some of the biggest crooks in the hobby have authored refrence books,,,,

Amen to that Nib! , anyway,, many can't believe that these are perfect copies. Mix in ageing techniques and a great ' Hoard' story and you got a provenance for almost anything..
Some just can't believe there are some pieces that can't be detected anymore pure and simple..

First off I did not know that I had to be an expert or book author to ASK A FEW QUESTIONS.......

Second, my questions have still not been answered, at least intelligently. And thier is serious confusion among your own ranks concerning these skulls.....

If you guys are happy with them, then good for you. But, you shoud at least be interested in seeing if what you own comes from the Sandbox man or not and if so is everything he sells original ......or are only the skulls original.


I will not be back here.......you guys have way too much fun for me...
