Hi Robin,
Is that picture scene really in Triumph of the Will? I've seen different cuts of it, but never that scene. The scene I'm familiar with is of the young SS man wearing an SS tellermütze eating something, but I've never seen this group shot.
Steve
No............that photo isn't in the film.
The guy in the film with the kraetzchen has a second pattern SS TK.
There's another shot in the film of a LAH SS man with a field cap and a Prussian (Berlin Hoard ???) TK on the side of the cap.

Robin and everyone else...... I say again:
No disrespect intended to anyone here in this discussion, if any has been taken then I do apologize.
I also said that I will not press my case, just ask quesions if that is ok.......and:
If/when I find this guy again would you be interested in seeing all of what he sells?
Would you be interested seeing the newspaper article? That is if he will let me get a photo of it.
And, if I hear anything interesting from Jueterbog would you be interested in hearing what ever that may be?

That just goes to show you that you are only seeing what you want to see......

Well so far I have two answers from Jueterbog..... Why is that a joke to you?
I do not see why you have such a problem with someone looking into this matter. As I said, I am NOT going to make anymore comments about whether I think they are real or fake. Only going to look for the "hard evidence" that backs the skulls authenticity........everyone quotes that article, but few have seen it. If/when I get it I will post it here.

The way the the problem and subject was approached, how you discussed it and then accused a well known respected figure in the collecting field and others of hiding information, not participating in your thread, dismissing your concerns, not admitting they were wrong and so on- you were rude- that was my problem (and others) and it is why I gave it right back to you.
A heavy hand is a waste of time and will generally be ignored by people who do not need to pay attention to it.
If you can find additional information that is useful I am sure everyone will be happy to see it and it will benefit posterity.

I need to go to work. I feel another long-worded response and defensive diatribe is in the works. Out of courtesy to other members on the forum and unlike others who have stated 7-8 times they are not going to post anymore- I will not respond unless there is something constructive stated that benefits the forum.

I do not know about people selling this stuff on Ebay and am talking about the skulls that were shown but normally if a real hoard is found and documented all of a sudden everything oxidized is attributed to the "hoard". I have seen enough KVKs now to fill a shuttle hanger that were all supposedly found as part of the "Deschler Hoard".
Let's back up to page 1 and 2. I was being polite and only trying to point out that I thought something wasn't right and why. All yuo guys did was ridicule my question with one line answers and jokes amungst yourselves until I finally said I give up. I called myself a morofor even trying to discuss something in a TR forum and was going to crawl back to my Imperial forum. I was not rude or disrespectful to anyone.
Here is your first real comment to me immediately after that and that is why maybe my attitude changed a little. It looks to me you fired the first "shot"....go back and read it all again, what everyone says and pretty much how all of the experts only wanted to laugh my out of the forum, but I sayed because I believe smoething does not smell right here (the sandman and the skulls) My attempt was to learn. but Robin's, your's and everyone elses first comments/answers to my questions were not very professional since I thought I was asking a legitimate questions. You see that the others that feel as I do said very little not to attraxct the same sort of treatment I recieved.
Here are your first comments to me on page 2 - Post 19. Reda everything up to the point and tell me where I was rude enough to deserve a comment like this. If you read the SGT York thread (obviously you have) I put a massive amount of time, effort and money into that to make sure I got it right. Here is what you said:
"Can't you with GIS and your learned talents as an archaeologist reconstruct the Wartime events surrounding the deposition of the skulls and WBs in the soils box and identify the original owners of the skulls based on their proximity to the Fire Exits on the Hall doors and the angle of the door frame in relation to the pitch of the roof?"
Now as a trained archaeologist you know that would be about the most insulting thing to say to someone like me who is trying to do the best job he can with what little he has. I may not be school trained, but I do know how to do researcjh and have been doing research since I was 15 years old. The merits of my work with Dr. Nolan have secured me a permit to conduct battlefield archaeology on another battlefield in the Argonne since 2009. I have not discussed that yet because it is too early at this point, but I am sure it too will get some folks upset - not here in the WAF, but elsewhere.
So...again, I appologized to those who feel that I steped on thier toes, but look back and see who threw the first punches...it was not me.
