M40 Jump Jacket....WOW! How was the tag used? Almost seems like some sort of 1st model sample or display piece.

Thank you Sir for your comment,

That has in fact been suggested, i.e., that it might have been a "prototype" for the production run.

(and actually I think my original "designation" might be incorrect, I think this is an M41 NOT M40).

          Hi,

Something is strange on this picture, these uniforms close in a female way?!

No, Wim - the plackets with the buttons are showing - they button in the normal fashion. (Unless Juan has started collecting Helferin combat tunics, of course...)

Well I hope I dont get kicked from the forum for posting an ss tunic in this section but this is the only tunic in 2008 and I would like to share it. It is a bit rough and combat worn. The display is not yet finished
                        Cheers

Truly AMAZING, this is a dream to some of the most advanced US Airborne collectors out there in the world! I can not imagine that there are many of these out there, perhaps this is the only one (with the original tags)?

I have to compliment you Mike, aside from having one of the most advanced TR collections out there, you field a beauty such as this jacket!!!

                                AMAZING
