I have to compliment you Mike, aside from having one of the most advanced TR collections out there, you field a beauty such as this jacket!!!

    AMAZING

I showed that jacket to my Dad and he enjoyed it, he had got one right after the War he wore through the 1950's hunting, long gone like his leather flight jacket with War art

Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

              Hi Mark

Awesome display and a killer 1941 tropical tunic. I think that one lke that one is enough for a full year's quota!!!!. Thos 1941 model are very difficult to find.

              regards

Heres my only tunic, purchased this year. It is for a Jäger leutnant of the 75th Jäger Regiment which participated in the break-through to the units trapped in the Demyansk pocket in 1942. The tunic is dated 1943 inside.

Luft Winter Jacket, not rare, but not so easy to find either. Not really a tunic, but close enough

Nice conditioned SS kielhosen, I mention this because I had purchased the jacket in 08 and the jacket and pants were originally acquired TOGETHER as a set, and split up by myself and another collector many years ago, and I finally had "reunited them", and prior to shipping, it found its way on to a garbage pile in S. Korea, and was in unissued condition. Luckily, money came back, but I would rather have had the jacket.

And a closeup of what I think makes them a bit out of the norm and unique. (The smooth cotton is used as scrap on two other small areas of these pants, and I have a set that uses Oak HBT as scrap as well)
