My latest acquisition. Started to get interested in foreign volunteers after purchasing an M43 tunic with osttruppen shoulder boards. Well, I saw this and took a chance - I like it, but would like an expert view on the shield and boards. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately the shield looks like a modern day repro. I am surprised that the seller did not even bother to age it. The boards are probably good, but the rank upgrade could have been made anytime. I would pass on this coat.

I just love this thread. There are some awesome items out there. Unfortunately it doesn't get a lot of new posts because of the rarity of the items involved. My own small collection hasn't seen many new additions. I have rearranged my collection a bit but haven't added much. Heres my whole FV uniform collection. The first picture with the three uniforms are all original the one in the center is ex George Peterson, the other two are ex Bob Hritz.

The Dutch tunic is a put together. Jim
