        Hello Eric,

I can't see very well from the photos, but I seems the Georgian shoulder boards you posted have red piping. What color is the piping for the Azerbajdzhan? On the photos they appear to be black or blue (?). Great looking tunics!

            Pink and Green

            Askold:

You are right a little of color because of the scan.
The shoulderboards are real the colour as i said.

Georgien: real "pink" i also have the collarboards in "pink"...
Aserbaidschan: real "green" ...almost like the Panzergrenadier "green" The printed collarboards are with same green piped......

NOT red as Kossack or POA/ROA/Ukrain units and NOT light blue like the Turkistan or Terek Kossack units.............

There is also yellow for the Armenien Units and brown (real rare) for the (Berg) Kaukasien Units......in the pointed shoulderboards...........

            Regards

            Eric

Very rare WWII German propaganda film aimed at recruiting new soldiers for ROA (Russian Liberation Army):

                http://battlesworld.com/2006/12/09/r...an-propaganda/

Very good shots of ROA insignia, shoulder boards, uniforms.

Looks like they all have this embroidered pattern with large fat letters, not the Bevo type which probably came later on.

Fantastic pair for a Georgian officer!

                        Eric:

I adjusted the colors on my screen and saw your boards - simply amazing. Is the tongue just as pointed as on POA boards or is it rounded?

Beautiful. I specially like the Cossack items but the only the Cossacks items that I have are from WW1. The only volunteer items I have is a POA shield.
