Yes I've seen a speciment on blue.

First aid pouch is centered where a German pouch woud be, if the tunic were open at the front with a conventional flap - nicely marked too!

Yes, I'm sure it would be "restored" with all the trimmings if I ever got rid of it.

I had heard these were made from stocks of Horizon Blue French cloth the Germans got in 1940.

NUTMEG- I've heard of two sources for the wool.Captured French stocks as you mentioned and wool used for custom police uniforms.

Heres my example.All original insignia with a few minor repairs.
