    This is a mint, unmessed Slavic tunic. Made of bluish wool, lined with rayon, outfitted with German buttons, and marked like a German tunic. This is one of my favorites! s/f Robert

            First aid pouch is centered where a German pouch woud be, if the tunic were open at the front with a conventional flap - nicely marked too!

                  I had heard these were made from stocks of Horizon Blue French cloth the Germans got in 1940.

                    Robert thats a beauty.

                    NUTMEG- I've heard of two sources for the wool.Captured French stocks as you mentioned and wool used for custom police uniforms.

                    Heres my example.All original insignia with a few minor repairs.
