                Thank you. Would it affect it's value? I am attracted to it because it is super early dated 1935 clock, which i understand is desirable. The owner wants $300 USD for it.

                  well it's hard to say, if the clock runs well and you didnt have an problem with the hands (looks good) take it but 300 is not an bargin, maybe he sell it for 250-270.

                          Clockface looks postwar; with the unmarked holder this might be made for the civilian market in the immediate postwar years.
