Maybe some of you have never had a real general's cap with celleon piping. It would probably explain the ignorance I see here in this thread.

You're right, most of us haven't but that doesn't mean we can't voice our opinions. Personnaly, I don't beleive that a General would be happy to buy a visor with less than absolutely perfectly applied piping but I'm just an ignorant collector, what do I know.

I copied Gerard's photograph and enlarged it, then placed arrows at the areas where the wreath overlaps the piping. On the sides of the wreath, the green band appears to have some cloth covering the piping (minimal at best). I think the concerns are unfounded. I believe it is the angle and lighting from the photograph, not the piping. Very nice visor.

BTW, Gerard is, by far, the best public dealer.

Not sure why the insult. It was my initial reaction and actually witty, to be honest. You realize, of course, I don't actually have "Illegal foreign nationals of UNKNOWN origin" in my basement, right? I would never hide illegal foreign nationals in my house, it's unAmerican.

That's exactly it, thank you for reading the description. The sewing of the wreath has caused stress on the piping.
