Welcome to the forum. I agree with you about the cap being a Graedler. I have one too.

Stuck indoors with the flu right now so had time to research these Berolina stamps some more.
Firstly, I'm surprised no one has commented on how remarkably similar in design the stamp in Larry's cap above is to the Berolino. What is the name in this stamp "Transferstelle" ?Attached FilesLast edited by BenVK; 10-22-2010, 08:36 AM.

Then we move onto the stamps that collectors are dubious of, starting with this one where the typeface of the year is a lot different but the stamp design is more or less the same as above. This includes the caps with the size marked in biro or pen. They also all seem to be faded to some degree.
You can see quite clearly that the typeface of the year is larger with the top and bottom in line with the top and bottom of the Berolina Berlin.Attached Files
