a few more tinnies to the pot

I acquired a collection of tinnies not to long ago. I have gone thru all 104 pages of this thread to see what has already been posted. I have a difficult time realizing how much of this stuff was made. There are several here that are different and, I suspect, there are a bunch more out there to be included.
I am singling out the intaglio hitler head which my understanding that he was the only nazi included in either 50 or 100 famous Germans done in this style as WHW items that were hung with a cotton string likely around the wrist.

Wow! This thread is still going? ?

Nice little collection in the post, above. The Hitler Youth ceramic piece might not be considered a tinnie. Not sure, can't see the whole thing.

Yes, there were thousands of these things made. I'll bet the published catalogs, books and threads only cover about 10% of what was actually made.

Think of "tinnies" as that era's printed "event" T-shirt.

I have read that in 1941 the German Ministry of Propaganda estamated the quantity as more then 32,000 pins of different design. This was in one of R. Kahl's books on Third Reich insignia and badges. IMO We will never see them all.

I'm busy scanning my collection of SA Tinnies - about 50 different types. Would this be the thread to post them in, or would it be better to start a new one?

This would be as good a place as you can get post away.

Hi guys, I know I'm new but I do have a fair few tinnies and WHW and DT etc that I'd be glad to share here, how do I go about posting photos? I also have over 120 Hindenburg Crosses that I'm going through the process of photographing that I'd be happy to put on. That is if there is any interest in a HK data base here?
