      Nice!

Very nice. Many I haven't seen before.

I suppose I should post up some of my new additions from the past few years... but that takes time.

It's these #$&!*@ novels! Writing them takes up all of it! I can't imagine what trying to find representation for them is going to be like.

Things should start happening soon, though.

Thanks for your patience and your posts.

            Ralph,

Can we see detailed images of the Volkswagen tinnie you have there in your box?

You'll have to be patient, though. Those boxes are not easy to get to at the moment...

Sadly it sold a while ago. It's was a tough one that I 'll probably never run across again. I wish I had more because there were two more customers that wanted it after it sold!

                            Hi guys
I did post this one on the "Fallschirmjäger" part of this site, but perhabs I'm wrong and should have posted it here.
I came across a (small) a-typical (meaning I've never seen one like these) Fallschirmjäger-pin .
Described as "genuine" by the seller; I dare to look for the experts opninions ...
Does anyone of the Tinnies-collecting community ever see one of those ?
It measures 19 mm and is partial covered with green enamel.
                            Any opinions strongly appreciated!
                            Thanks
                            Peter

The double picture below shows the wellknown Shimpf Badge that stood model for this pin.The left one is the 1969 "official" vets replica. The right one the 1944 issue.

Looks like a very nice vet's piece.

The manufacturing technique ("bumpy" reverse, "blob-y" solder ) matches some of the post war items in my collection.

No reason I can see to doubt its authenticity.

                                Ralph,
                                Thanks for the fast reply.
You think it is a one off postwar individuall ordered piece?
                                Not likely war-time ?
