Question for everyone! This tinnie came with a number of the VDA crest tinnies. I have not seen this one before and don't remember seeing it in any of my reference books. Is this a VDA tinnie? And is it part of a series of tinnies? Is is Pre May 1945? It is the same size as the VDA tinnies. Thanks, Mike
Marc and Mike I finally found out what this organization is. It's the Nazi Social Welfare Org. and the pin is for the domestic drive to raise funds for charities. Which explains the wording Inneren.
I believe so Marvin. The Hamburg tinnie I posted is related, but I had not seen it before until it came to me with some VDA tinnies. Not as fancy as a IAB or PAB, but to me, still just as nice! Mike
Marvin, I would say it is the first of these pins as it shows the symbol of the org. in the center of the Third Reich and proclaims April 14 u 15 Volkstag der Inneren Million. There's no telling just how many indivial city pins there areMikes Hamberg pin is the first one of those I have seen.
Well, I was going to take my whw tinnies out of the riker display in which I have them so that I don't post many that have already appeared on this thread. However, It turned into a lot of work, so I just scanned them in the riker display. Here are my whw items.

Innere Mission. Founded by the Hamburg Protestant Theologian "Johann Hinrich Wichern" in September 1848. Its aim was to bring the Youth of Germany and the Church closer together. It also aimed to keep the German youth in the countryside leaning a trade and leaning how to become a responsible adult instead of migrating to the bigger cities. It later became a charity to help the needy, within other regions. The first school set up by Wichern was near Hamburg.
Hope this helps the whole organisation is rather complicated and evolves from similar ideas.
