Marvin--yes they appear to be inlayed. I don't know how many in the series--but I will try and find out. First time I have seen these. Mike

              WHW

              Mike,

The three wooden shields are from BADEN offered over the 15th and 16th of January 1938, "Handwerker Wappen" (Craftsman's Tools) there are 21 in the series. You have Schuster (Shoe Maker), Bäcker (Baker), and Schlosser (Locksmith). The Camel is also from BADEN 6th and 7th of January 1940, Colonial Commemoratives, set of 13 animals. The small Town Crests are again from BADEN, 4th and 5th of January 1941, set of 20.

              Very nice indeed.

                  Dear Mike,

It says that it is forbidden (Sammelverbot) to collect money for all the organisations mentioned after that. This applies for the time period mentioned after the organizations´ names. End remark emphasizes that solely the WHW is exempt from that Sammelverbot.

                  Cheers, Frank H.

                            KWHW Wartheland

From a set of eight, "Neue Heimat Wartheland" 1941/1942. Unfortunately the centre badge is missing the top of the outer surround.

                              HI,
here is a part of my WHW collection most of it from my grandfather.
I'm, sorry for posting a photo in such a wide angle and also that everything is little bit mixed up.

If you want to have close ups, just ask and I will see what i can make.
                              Cheers
                              Christoph
