"Third badge is a variation used by the Innere Mission" Marc--I assume that it is not a WHW stickpin?? Then is it WWII or pre WWII?
Also-the first badge came with some WHW. Until I get some reference books I don't know if it is or not! It is a nice looking, stamped metal tinnie looking badge!! Mike

Gman11,The term Tinnie was given to these badges early on by collectors as must of them were made from thin stamped metal but they come in all types of material rangeing from paper, wood, plastic, cloth, brass, steel, aluminum and potmetal. They were sold at sporting events, meetings, ralleys and festivals to raise money for the sponsoring org. If you go to the thread (Tinnie wars) you can see what they look like. As far as cost goes they still are affordable but the prices are going up fast.

Marc,
Thanks for the info.
So to actually have a complete set, they would need to all be the same color? Marvin

Regarding the Stadtwappen tinnies, does anyone know if the tinnies must all be the same color in order to be considered a complete set? Or can they be mixed colors? thanks. Marvin
