Fresh AH silver pieces for sale on Wittmanns Website

Just a heads up as I noticed Tom Wittmann freshly posted some really nice AH silver pieces for sale. It seems these AH pieces are heading up some in price if these latest offerings are realized. Nice items all from one US veterans family I understand. Brent

The prices havent changed for some time. I guess Tom made the first move. He gave himself a nice cost of living increase....or he bought high. Thanks for the heads up.

Like I predicted a lot of great stuff is coming out to the market. We will see this trend for years to come as family's decide part with collections and vet groupings. A GREAT time to be a collector!

I fully agree, Eric: "A GREAT time to be a collector!" And Tom Wittmann's site is a very good example of what's new in the market regarding silverware, just as Brent's site always is. I guess we who have collected AH silver for decades should be happy to see what Mike has mentioned, that the prices are going up. Of course, that also means that, for people like me who only collect and don't retail, it becomes more and more difficult to buy new pieces for our long-standing collections...but such is life, I guess!

                XXL Hakenkreuz aus Bad Kreuznach

                Hello togehter,

It is from the Militärkrankenkaus from Bad-Kreuznach.
Originality and origin are completely clarified.

Very interesting! Do you have any photos of the hospital?

Hi Wolfgang, and welcome among us...it's good to have you here!

Thanks for sharing photos of this sculpture. As CPB requested, I'd like to see a photo or two of the entire sculpture as it looked when it was mounted on the military hospital at Bad-Kreuznach.

Also, it would probably be helpful if this thread had been started as a new item; having it here as part of the "AH Flatware" thread will render it very difficult to find for future reference. Perhaps the Moderator could move it for you?

                    Cheers, and again, welcome!

Thanks, Wolfgang; hope you can find some to share with us. And never worry about your use of English -- speaking for myself, your English is MUCH better than my German!

                        Cheers,

Here's a couple more AH crystalware items a colleague has just obtained. I'll post the Martin Bormann purchase order for the AH crystal and the bringback papers too.
