Back to right wing! Der Wehrwolf 1923-1933. One of my favourite themes of the Weimarer Republik.

I can't believe that here are no collectors with some things from political organizations 1919-33 in the collection!

Wehrwolf armbands are very rare. But rarer is the cuff title of the "Schwarze Brigade Sachsen (Werwolf)" which I found last year.

That "special" Wehrwolf organization existed only a few months in 1933.

Here is a thread about the theme and some more Wehrwolf things:

                    Roter Frauen und Mädchenbund (RFMB)!

Did you know, that there was an own organization for RFB women? In the early days all men and women were members in the same organization, the RFB. Because the dangerous activities of the RFB (fights vs. SA etc.), an own organization was founded for women. The RFMB!

                          More great photos!
What I find most interesting in these photos is the question of why the people in them chose a particular group to join in the 1920/30s.
More often then not these people were from the same social backgrounds, same apartment blocks even.
We know from history members of the SA and Rotfront changed sides upon occasion and joined yesterdays political enemies.
                          Great thread Herr Sergeant! Sean

A big problem was the unemployment. In a lot of the organizations the members were workers. They wanted jobs. They needed money to buy food. They wanted survive!

Some people thought the organizations from the left wing were a good new way, others thought the organizations from the right wing would be the best. Sometimes people changed their political opinions very fast, because they wanted to survive in those days.
