As far as i know, only Bob has a RZM marked piece and I've seen those with the 189 marking, which I suppose refers to the Deschler firm, or not?

Well my ability or desire to own one of these just ended if this is the price now being realized by these. It would not cost this much to fly my family of four to Germany for a nice 2 week vacation. I stand corrected Erich. But I have to agree with you that collectors now see the value of political awards and items related to historical aspects of the era. No longer are collectors just into general service awards. The Gau side of collecting is also gaining momentum. We also have another thread discussing the appreciation of art (from that era) by other collectors.

Please collect for the enjoyment of the items you intend to accumulate, chasing that next 'hot item' makes no sense and is depressing me when people keep talking about that, this is not an investment long term it is primarily a hobby and all that goes with that.Comment
