    Erich,

That's a lovely pick-up - You seem to have great luck in finding these things!

That's a nice find Erich and I think worthy of framing.

Congrats and hoping that you don't get the fair haired one upset with your continuous "measly junk store finds"

Sorry not a fan of the badge. It lacks detail and is crude IMO.

Agree--the above badge is definitely a reproduction.
Erich--great plaque! How large is it? Is it maker marked? I don't think I've ever seen one like that.

Erich, it's about 5x7 and as you can see for the 20th anniversary of the March. I have seen the plaque before but not period framed.

                    Not maker marked.

... but period mounted, as a price for the sporting event at the same occasion.

John, along with the plaque, I was thrilled to get the Christmas greeting card because it was the first that I have seen and I doubt that Not many have survived!

By the way, the fake CB that was posted was sold some years ago by a Canadian dealer for 5000.00.

I apologise for not having the know how to post a link but am sure most of you can find your way to the latest auction offerings from Andreas Thies,in which is included the Coburg badge document to Emil Maurice on the Last pages.
P.S sorry if this has been mentioned already.

Not for the faint hearted. I think it will easily hit the 7-8k mark.

The Rosenberg award document went for about 15K at the MAX a few years ago so it will be interesting to see what price the Maurice document goes for.
