A very impressive grouping and documents. It's always interesting to learn the intimate details of those who wore these badges which brings their history to life.

                      Hi Robert,

A fantastic archive, Robert, though I do have one question on its contents: there are three GPBs included in this display, though only two of them bear the number of Ludwig Kießling, whose #35917 matches the documents. But you also include a large badge w/#70189...what connection does that badge have to the Kießling set?

Perhaps you have only included it as another example of your collection?

                      Thanks and cheers,

                      Br. James

That is a mistake from me, took the wrong one out from the cabinet. I will make a new photo soon with the 3 right badges. Ouch.

Not a problem, Robert, and thanks for your quick response!

Do you have an ID on #70189?

Cheers, and I know we all look forward to your next pix!

I never did a research on it and would be interested as well on this number.
I assume it is related to Baden Wuerttenberg area of Aalen as I got it from Private with no history.

Thanks, Robert; wish I could help you, but this number is not on my list.

If you happen to find an ID for it, we will be grateful if you would share it with us!

                              Cheers,
