Is this HJ NPEA Uniform authentic?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I am a fairly new collector. I was wondering if any of you could help me determine if this uniform is authentic? This uniform is from the school Allenstein which they made a movie about: NAPOLA Fur Den Fuhrer or "Before the fall". Great movie!

Anyway.....I have had a few collectors look at it and half say it's authentic and the other half say's that it's not. One thing that I know is that you can,t fake the smell. This uniform smells old.

The white piping around the shoulder boards have turned yelowish. The pants have seen better days and has white bands sewed on to the bottom of each pant leg, probably by the owner.

One collector said that the triangular arm patch doesn't look right and that the cap has an SA "cut" to it.

Any help on this would be great! Thanks.

The uniform itself looks good, but I don't like the district triangle. Only very early ones were embrodered like that and that is a late post 1938 unifrom.

Little Information Has Been Published On The N P E A Units. However, What Id Do Know Is The Students Prior To The War Wore A Brown Tunic With H J Armband And N P E A Shoulder Boards. The War Time Tunic Wore An Olive Drab Uniform With An Arm Eagle Simalr To The S S Eagle. I Have Never Seen A H J Winter Uniform Used In Conjunction With The N P E A.

Thanks for the reply. I know that this might sound stupid but again, the movie "Before the fall" portrays the students of the Allenstein HJ school who all wear this exact uniform and the one with the SS eagle. I know that it's just a movie but it is the only place that I have seen this uniform. One collector said that it might be a uniform from that movie but the movie is from 2004 and my uniform is way older than that for sure.

I am going off memory here, but wasn't Allenstein a fictional NPEA school used only for the movie? And weren't most sleeve triangles Bevo weave?
If it is from the movie, it obviously has some value.

Member Ron Weinand is probably the most knowledgeable about the NPEA--you should pm him.
