Here is an old ebay shot.
A 1937/8 Chevrolet coach (2 door) which was a rare bird in Europe.
Very nice detail on the Holzgas alternative fuel apparatus.

Bill, I haven't posted to this thread in a while. Here is a new one that arrived today. I know I am going to be wrong but this one feels to me like a Buick..
Morlning Mike:
Your first is a 1936 Buick, the second a 1939 Hudson.
Both rare cars in Europe and therefore nice photos to have!!
Thanks for the post.

Hi Larry:
Yes, Ford took over Lincoln in 1922.
Regarding the Zephyr, that was Lincoln's brand in the "entry luxury" market that started in late mid 1930's. Cadillac had it's La Salle, Packard had it's 120 series and Lincoln had the Zephyr. This I gather came about as we were slowly pulling out of the Depression but the pure luxury market still was out of the reach of too many potential customers.
Going back to the beute/umbau thread, those two cars we were talking about both have side mounted spare tyres, something I have never seen on a BMW. Also the windscreens are very typical of the umbau vehicles made from Chevrolet sedans captured in the Lowlands and France.
I have to go to the shop now but I will play with my editing program when I get home tonight.

Thanks Bill. I will have to keep from selling myself short. I just knew it was a Buick..lol
The Buick is from an ebay auction I recently won and the Hudson is from a Heer signals album I just recieved... Take care! Mike
