Larry, I like how you faded the red cockade, since he is in the shadow. very creative man. Theres something about your colorizing that I can pick out from others......not sure what it is. lol

                      Thanks very much.

I like your colorizations a lot. The skin tones are realistic. As they are in a studio the skin tones are completely different to skin tones on people in bright sunlight. In a studio they are more subdued (as in your colorizations) and in sunlight they would appear to be a brighter pink as in mine.

Do you use the layering system or just draw around the area to color with the Polygonal Lasso Tool.

                      Cheers,
                      Larry

Great work as usual Men! Larry, that is an interesting photo you posted with the NCO inspecting weapons, is that from a series of photos or is it a single?

                          Hi Kevin,

The photo is part of a small Gebirgsjäger collection.

                          Cheers,
                          Larry

I don't uise the polygonal lasso actually. I use the layering system. I just freehand colorize, and go back and erase where I have gone outside the lines. Probably slower than using the tools, but it is what Im used to.

                            Here a Bundearchiv photo....

I also like the free colours selection. When you find those you like you can note the HTML 6 digit code and use it again any other time.
