        Wolfram Sievers

        Wolfram Sievers Born Hildesheim July 1905.

        Became NSDAP member in 1929 and later worked at Dachau Concentration camp.
        In 1943 became deputy director of the Ahnenerbe, research institute where he participated in collecting specimens of skeletons for August Hirt at the university of Strasburg. He also participated in conducting high altitude experiments on camp inmates, together with ice-cold water treatments to see the effects.

        He was sentenced to death on 20th October 1947 for crimes against humanity and hanged on 2nd June 1948.

        The picture shows him in his wartime role and during his imprisonment.

          Hi Larrister,
          I saw the wonderful job you did on the old black and white photos...making them color. I am asking for a colorizing software for Christmas. Could you recommend what brand or type of software you use please? I want to get the same results you do. Complicated software is ok as I have the patience to work with this. I just want top notch results like you have achieved. Any direction would be appreciated. My email is arditi@suddenlink.net

                A bit OT : this picture was period colourized. I bet you could have done a better job but they didn't have PS at that time

                    Another couple of mine, portraits as usual

                    Amon Goeth, (SS) Camp commandant of Plazow Concentration camp in Poland, (Schindlers List Fame) once again executed after the war,

                    Second, Erich Baerenfaenger, fought in Berlin in the last days of the war, and commited suicide together with his wife at the end
