Pic 6 - Unable to confirm identity. I believe his forename is Rupert but I can not make out his surname.

Pic 8 - I believe his name to read Sebastian Schmitd but there are no names listed on Volksbund with the surname spelt this way. With the 'normal' spelling of Schmidt there is no one listed with a KIA date of 1940.
The man buried next to him with the SS Runes on his cross is listed in Volksbund but the date of birth and date of death shown on the cross do not correspond with what is listed in Volksbund.

Volksbund details: Rudolf Weichselbaumer: Born 21/06/1915 Died 06/06/1940 at Foret-de-Pinon in the Aisne area.

Pic 10 - Johann Hoffman - there are a number of KIA listed on the Volksbund site with this name, 3 who were KIA in 1940.

Pic 11 - Unable to confirm details but believe this may be the same grave as that shown in Pic 2 (Gefr Johann Hartl).

Schtz Josef ? Not sure if his surname is Bauce, Hauce or Rause. However there is no-one listed in Volksbund with any of these 3 surnames.

Final Pic - Johann ? I can not make out the surname.

With alot of these soldiers listed in the Volksbund as having their grave unlocated since the wars' end is there such an organisation in existence where people can send pictures such as these and they forward copies on to the respective soldiers living relatives so at least they know there was a grave? (Apologies if this question has been asked before).

                    Hello All,
Thank you for the nice postimgs since the thread came
                    back to the top.

In answer to STEINERS question, I can only bring to mind 3 front line
graves with cloth headgear on them. ( bar Panzer berets)
I have one as below, this is on a grave that has seen snowfall, so I
am unsure if it was added for the photo, or has melted off, which might
explain its dark but not quite black colour?

The others I saw were another side cap and an M43, can members scan
                    their albums for others.?

                    Cheers,
                    John.

I read Sebastian Schmid - not Schmidt.

In the Volksbund is listed listed a Sebastian Schmid * 3 Aug 1913 + 29 May 1940 Doullens /France. It could be his grave.
