              Great photos Bill showing just how miserable this area was and probably still is! If the swamp mud didn't suck you under, the skeeter's would carry you away for the blood feast LOL!

              judging from the lack of mosquito nets it looks like these were taken soon after the thaw, it was still probably a bit to cold for the blood thirsty pests. if you look real close you can see the standing water is full of larvae though.

                No action photo but I would like show it again. Perhaps with these models even flight maneuvers were simulated.

                  He looks like a Flak NCO and the models are to teach the differences between German and Allied 4 engine ac so the do not shoot their own AC down.
