She's about 95 now

After WWII she converted to Roman Catholicism and went to live at the Our Lady of Bethlehem Convent in Columbus, Ohio. She taught German, French, and music at St. Joseph Academy, Columbus. In 1973 she returned to Ohio Wesleyan University to complete her degree. Her death was from colon cancer at Grant Medical Center in Columbus on June 25, 1988.

Her name was Mildred Gillars but most people remember her as Axis Sally.

She lived down the street from me when I was a kid running around playing war. She stopped me once while I was running through her yard and told me the "Jews are to blame for all our wars, so beware of Jewish power", I was a 10 year old kid and was like what a creepy old lady.
