Thanks.....I avidly collect POW Portraits/photos but this last one really caught my attention because you are correct in seeing something that you seldomly see....LW Assault Gun Wrap!

well it depended on the nationality of the troops who captured you and also how far into the war it was that a german soldier was captured.
just from looking at this thread it would appear that commonwealth countries were the most lenient when it came to German awards in wear/possession.
