Thanks for posting and sharing you very nice POW pics on this thread. I have alot of these POW in Egypt photos although no resort they seem to have had it pretty good in those camps.

Well I finally received my three snaps of DK Winner and Lager Fuehrer Lt. Colonel Hans H******246;rtnagl of German POW Camp Concorida, Kansas, USA. This is the Great Grand-Father of one of our forum members....StefanK who stated that his Great Grand-Father won his DK in Afrika and had served at one time with the IIIIrd Battalion/Gebirgsjaeger Regiment 756.

I recently picked up some more German POW photos! The first one up was taken in a German POW Camp in Canada.

Next is some photos taken by a GI of German and Italian Officers being transported to POW camps from their capture in Africa.

It appears no one has any German POW photos to share so I will post a few more recent arrivals.

by the way if you are wondering about the photos posted in frame 593 to 599 they are privately taken photos and not the signal corps type!!
