Here is an really nice portrait of a Two LW NCO POW's in the USA. One is a FJ wearing a cloth FJ Badge, LWGAB, EK1, and the other is a Glider Pilot wearing a GLider Pilot Badge and wound badge.

              Camp Blanding POW's

Hi I recently acquired this interesting shot of POW's in Florida. I believe all three were members of the Afrika Korps. Could someone translate the writing on the back and just where was Camp Blanding?

                Camp Blanding POW's reverse

Here's the back of the Blanding image. Thanks in advance for the help in translating the writing and telling me where this camp was.

                  John,

Actually that photo was not taken in Florida....Ferrania is the name of a Europe printed portrait postcard. The photo was overstamped by the Camp Blanding censors as property of the prisoner of War. I wish I could help you translate but it is in old German script. Maybe one of German members can translate.

Here is a recent LW POW portrait I picked up that was taken in the USA
