                  Ed Anderson Jr.....Those items are very interesting and most likely all the POW camps had similar items in each Camp Commanders Administrative office. Thank you for sharing!

                    Interestingly, this article mentions that a Geneva Convention recommendation was that a POW was to be kept in a climate similar to what he was captured in.

                        I found this one on a French web site. It was taken shortly after the invasion. The eagle on the cap of the officer in the front looks like Customs, not military.
