    Thanks for sharing these. It must have been a surreal moment for Antonescu to be decorating German soldiers. He had fought the Germans in 1916, and didn't much care for them for the rest of his life. But out of necessity, he allied with them when he came to power in 1940. Then, the Romanian Iron Guard, with SS support, launched a coup against him in January the next year. The German foreign ministry backed him, and he stayed in power, but now he was truly beholden to the Germans...

        Hi guys.

        Im working on my second color city photo book at the moment ( München in Farbe ) 1936 bis 1945.

        I have a small wooden box of civilian color slides showing the city centre of Munich 1939 but there are two color slides showing churches that im not sure which Church that is.

        Does anyone know where these 2 are ?

              Hope that helps. Place names are particularly hard to decipher, but you no doubt know this man's unit, so it should be easy to find their route and thus work out some of the locations.

                I know the unit is the 94.Inf.Div so I can start mapping out where they were and what the named locations could be.
