      88 in dangerous postion

nice to see a photo of the 88 at its most dangerous, covered in folage and on the edge of a forest.
it must have been hell trying to spot a 88 in this position from maybe a mile away, thanks to everyone for making this an exiting forum.

                Thank you Mr Petz!

For posting such superb photographs. I really love coming to this site every month and seeing such new and interesting photos.

Photo 343 of the panther in Bavaria is actually a Late G model with a steel wheel placed at the last station. Probably done in the field or at a repair depot.

                    Hi All,

I totally agree with providing input on the photos...unfortunately many photos have nothing written on the reverse other than Panzer Kaput or Knocked out Tiger. Some are well known and many GI's took pics from different angles. I'm sure if someone knows or recognizes a photo they will provide a little more information and share it with us all. Thank you all for making this a successful thread. Bill

                        Cliff,

If you look close you will see a steering wheel in that vehicle...I think it may be some kind of Ammo transporter/forklift type of vehicle used for the purpose of moving supplies or ammo crates around. Bill
