I believe that the first note is from a town called Nove Dvory, in county Kutna Hora in the today’s Czech Republic...

The message says something like... Private Gerhard Kunze was on 9/5/45 in (can’t read it, but it could say Semtes) by the National Committee voluntarily disarmed.

It shows a German WH officer and there are not additional marks/dates present.

I agree. It could be the letter "S " and it seems to be a double-barrelled Family name. The sencod

name could start with " Th.." but this is only an assumption.

with a bit (!) of phantasy it coud be the abbreviatet name "Salm -

Hoogestraeten".

The abbreviated part of the name could be the letter " H " - same letter as the first letter of his

christian name. But you need some phantasy...
