        Hi All -
        Can anyone translate the message on the back of this photo? It might provide a clue to the identity of the soldier. I'm willing to bet, however, it will reveal his first name at best.

                  Thanks to Gerdan and Pauke. Well, here's Franzi, a young enlisted member of the Waffen SS. I'll never know if he survived WWII and lived a happy, prosperous life or if he was just another causality of the insanity of WWII.
