The letter is a very detailed and precise account about the plane crash in which Generaloberst Hube died, after having been awarded the brilliants to the KC at the Berghof. The letter-writer is a person that was very close to Hube. He managed to leave the burning plane wreckage and helped some passengers to get out of the fire. Four hours after the crash, which took place at 4 o’clock, some farmers reached the plane considering the survivors being shot down English pilots. The letter-writer is severely wounded.
