    When I use Babelfish it says "Your thanks: Yours on 10 April". It just doesn't sound right.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

    It's something like "Your thanks: a Yes vote on 10th of April".

        Sorry Hank but I would read "Herne" instead of "Hamm". Do you agree?

          10 April 1938 was the date of the referendum to bring Austria united with Germany:

                  Agree. I was a little unsure of "Hamm".

                        2) Not sure, but could be "Beraun", German name for the Czech town Beroun.

                        Trebes
                        We could probably make it sure when you show as the face of the photo.

                          Hello Gerdan and Trebes,

                          Thank you very much for the fast replies!

                          Regarding Beroun, this might be possible due to the fact that the person depicted on the photographs was a member of SS Panzer-Grenadier-Rgt. 9 "Germania", who was also awarded the Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938.

                          Here is the photo;

                          Edit: I was looking through some other photographs of the same person, and I found the word Beroun written on the wall! Only, this time the person has a different rank.

                              They had to replace some parts (for the oxygen machine) which must be fabricated
