      Hello Gerdan,

Thanks for your help, only, why should I look at page 26? It doesn't really show useful information I guess.

      With kind regards,

      Koen

The note to see page 26 is related to the date of the last entry in the line before.

His service with the "1. Komp./ Bau B. 95" is ending with 17.11.1939. Than on page 29 you

find that he was released the day after: 18.11.1939.

He was recalled 11. 3. 1940. Than the entry on page 12 continues.

            Hi,

Can anyone read what is on the reverse of some recent photo pickups? The same is written on two of them, which are of the same location.

            Thanks,

            Jerry

Thanks Gerdan, as always you answer my questions on this forum

Marana is a very small place in the far north of Italy, so might not be it, I tried looking at sicily with no luck, but I'll try sardinia as well.

from the photo seems Sardegna (or Corsica)..... Marana is difficult to find in Italy because there are several small places or villages in Italy with this name derived from Latin and means "acquatico"of water" (for example, also near Rome Marana is colled the area of the old open aqueduct).....
