If someone knows an officer/commander with a name like Altenpeter/Altenpater please let me know!
I´m trying to find out where this unit was.
Many times a Auffangstab was named after a commander, but this could also be a nick-name?

Is there anything on the back of this family photo that indicates who this General might be?

                      # 1773

                      I will try it:

                      "Familientag der Familie Siegler(?)/Segler (?) in Stuttgart 28. Febr.(?) 1935 (?)

                      Erst Siegler Fritz
                      Gerd ? Siegler (..??..)
                      Dieter Schäfer
                      Frau Kurz
                      Olga Siegler"

It is very difficult to identify the handwriting dealing with (family) names.
May be others are better and can help.

I miss the "i" at the end. The writer normally makes out the dot on the "i" very clear - but with names we always have our difficulties...the writers and the readers.
