Bryant,

The postcard is addressed to the writer’s sister “Mitzi”. Dated: Italy October 22, 1944

Interesting are some comments. He writes that he is still well and hopes that everyone at home is the same.

He says that : “Hans was drafted on October 7, 1944".
He continues: “Now everyone, young and old, even boys and girls have to go.”

Pretty gutsy comment to put on a postcard.

Bestallung zum Eisenbahn-Werkmeister für den Eisenbahn-Werkführer Peter Rohr in Köln - Nippes.

Peter Rohr was promoted from Eisenbahn-Werkführer to Eisenbahn-Werkmeister (railway ranks) in Cologne in April 1922.
