Help Needed if Possible?, Think I'm right in saying this is in Bulgarian, It compares in some ways with other Example shown on WA....However its also a Little Different. Maybe its something to do with equator crossing? Any translation help would be greatly appreciated.

Dass die Landung in Ordnung ist, wird nach jedem Flug schriftlich bestätigt.

That the arrivial/landing is Ok will be testified by a written report after every landing

                        Hi Bernd,

Thanks for the translations. On # 187, were you able to make out any of the names of the comrades who wanted a copy of the photo? Can anyone see if they can find Günter Brockmann in the Volksbund registry or wherever the names of the fallen would be? I'd appreciate that. Thanks again Bernd.

                        Regards,
                        John

Three Günter Brockmann are listed in the Volksbund list, one of them seems too old (* 1919), the two others are:

                            Nachname: Brockmann
                            Vorname: Günter
                            Dienstgrad: Gefreiter
                            Geburtsdatum: 30.03.1923
                            Geburtsort: Berlin
                            Todes-/Vermisstendatum: 06.12.1942
                            Todes-/Vermisstenort: Wjasowka

                            Nachname: Brockmann
                            Vorname: Günter
                            Dienstgrad: Füsilier
                            Geburtsdatum: 28.01.1923
                            Geburtsort: Hamburg-Bergedorf
                            Todes-/Vermisstendatum: 27.05.1943
                            Todes-/Vermisstenort: Dorpat, Estld.

                              Hi Gerdan,

Thanks for looking Günter up for me. I believe he's the first one mentioned as the soldier in the photo is a Gefreiter. He was killed in Demjansk in December of 1942. Just as the other one you found was killed the following May.Would this be the time period of the Demjansk pocket fighting occured? I believe it was called the Demjansk pocket. What are the badges Günter is wearing in photo 188? I believe they are HJ sports badges.

                              Regards,
                              John

                                Hi Andy,
I'd love to see the front of that photo of the Graf Spee, only if you don't mind posting a watermarked version? Is it dated at all?
                                Cheers.
