    Good evening Gents,

Is there any chance a more-trained eye for Sutterlin (or just handwriting in general as i'm shocking at it ????) could take a look at the following for me?
I believe it says 'Uffz...' and is in reference to the soldier on the right with the Silesian Eagle, but I cannot make out the name, so if someone could help that would be greatly appreciated as always.
Kindest regards and many thanks in advance
    H

In the moment I can only explain " s.(einem) lb. (lieben) Freund" - to his dear friend - (a dedication)

Perhaps it could be "Dr. Johannes Lindschau " ??

Thanks a lot Gerdan, yes, it could and a doctor with that name existed in the Wehrmacht. I will see if anything fits.

It reads: "Maler Dekoration" or "Malers Dekoration", if the downward twirl after "Maler" signifies the letter "s"

Thank-you! Would that be an interior designer in Germany? Or an artist? Or just a house painter? Thanks.

                        A Maler is a painter.

It can be a family name Meinarden.
