    Rob,

Sorry but nothing written on the back of the photos...only the watermark.

That is an awesome Picture! It is so interesting to actually locate some of the locations and go there. I was lucky enough a few years ago to go to Prague and see the Charles Bridge. What made it even more interesting was I have a photo album with some Soldiers having their picture taken there. They were tourists just like i was!

                        Hi Marco,

those look like superb websites. I will check these out later today. I hope that my somewhat knowledge of French will be enough to read Italian. I know this will probably be a lot of work but it would be fantastic if you could supply these pages in English as unfortunately the none Roman world is less familiar with Latin based languages. I am sure I will be in touch with you as I plan to visit Monte Cassino sometime next year and in preparation would like to discuss some things. A couple of days ago I ordered the THEN AND NOW of Monte Cassino. Anyway great websites and talk to you later.

                        Cheers, Willem

                              Tiger 223

                              Hi,

Well I haven't posted anything on this forum in quite some time. It feels good to be back. For your viewing pleasure, we have first, a Tiger with the number 223 on its turret. Could someone tell me what unit this cat was with and perhaps its fate? Hmm on second look, the number might be 233.
