Not a very clear photo but one that must be quite rare showing an umbau T 34 undergoing an engine change.

Another umbau German panzer. This one is a Russian T20 Komsomolets Light Artillery Tractor.

Another prewar image showing the lack of beret or breast eagles. This is from a limited edition series of Albert Horn's "fotokarten".

Here's a nice action shot of a Sturmgeschutze. Said to be in Russia. This may be part of a collector card series I believe, not a standard photo.

Larry, excellent Beute T34 photos ... Can you identify the unit, any clues (place, name...)?

                        Hello Akira,

                        Thankyou for the nice comments.

All the beute armour photos I have posted are from a 7 Inf. Division album.

Photos #33,#69, #136 are also from the album. There are no markings on any of these tanks which is rather frustrating until we come down to #135 which has a "Guderian" marking on it.

Very few of my German armour photos have any type of markings on them. Can you tell me why this is so?

There are other photos of werkstatt mekanikers working on T34 engines but these photos are in poor condition.

Here's another photo from the album. A mekaniker sitting on top of a T34.
It is possible that this T34 may have been put into service by the Germans.

                        Cheers,

                        Larry
