      Nice set of documents!
Could you maybe show some pictures of the Soldbuch?
Also some pictures of the Volkssturm Führer manual would be quite interesting!!

          Hello

Keep an eye on this Thread guys. I am working just now but I will post images of my Volkssturm Soldbuch. It is from an old man who was a member of the Berlin battalion 3.

I will post it this evening.

          Mike

Very interesting photo indeed, but frankly, I don't think he is a Volkssturm member.

Notice his brassard with the capital letter "O". This was used within the civilian air defense services and identified Ordner (= overseers/stewards).

Judging from his uniform's overall appearance, my guess would be that this man belonged to a Werkluftschutz (factory air defense) service.

VS tabs black. No shoulder straps (per regs; sometimes ignored.)

                      Nice fotos and documents posted

Here is my small Volksturm contribution. They are from 4 different VS soldiers.
The one with the wound notice actually saw action. The wound notice and the armband has blood stains. It is noted that he got splinters in the face.

Note that the guy in the picture wears an SA buckle and he has no armband.

                      Bests Jens
